Fit for 55

President Cefic and BASF Martin Brudermüller and Chairman of WindEurope Andreas Nauen ahead of the launch of Fit for 55 packages stressed how crucial a rapid expansion of renewable energy is in order to meet the 2050 climate targets. Martin Brudermüller also highlighted the need of policy coherence for our industry, by saying: “We are an energy intensive, as well as capital intensive, industry. We need . . . a clear outlook for investment, otherwise investments will not happen and that will jeopardize the whole ecosystem in Europe.”
